I just watched today's clip of Bley talking about tax fraud and item collecting, and he may need to go on the run. Not for tax fraud, but for something much more sinister.

Context: the conversation opens with talking about items that Bley collects in service of creating "a buffet of humor" for the podcast. This is all fine and silly and entertaining, but he says something VERY specific at the 0:58 mark that stuck out to me:

"They're, they're objects of power"

The conversation then moves on very quickly, but I would like to call out that Bley is specifically referencing the Remedy-verse, which is a universe that exists in the video game series led by Sam Lake and the team at Remedy Entertainment that has created Alan Wake, Control, and Max Payne (Max Payne isn't technically included in this universe for legal copyright reasons, but maybe there's a lawyer on Conan's staff that can explain that better than I can).

As I'm sure we all know, Objects of Power are trinkets and items in this universe that have connections to Altered World Events throughout these stories. Bley might have slipped here, as the Federal Bureau of Control will likely be barging through his door investigating the items he has collected.
