Pelvic floor physiotherapy for PDOD?
Hi, I read this subreddit's guide on PT but couldn't really find anything on PDOD (apologies if it's there).
I found one case of a female who fixed their PDOD (pleasureless orgasms) through releasing chronic tension in their pelvic floor but unfortunately the journal article doesn't go into much detail. Here's the journal article: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/14681994.2012.762087
I've tried asking local PTs whether they'll see me but they decline to see me because they don't specialise in PDOD...but no one does.
I would greatly appreciate some suggestions for building my own pelvic floor therapy routine. Right now I do reverse kegels, deep breathing into the pelvic floor, trying to find "trigger points" to put gentle pressure on (I haven't found these potential trigger points yet) and yoga that focus on hip opening.
I'm pretty sure I have a hypertonic pelvic floor as I have to either strain or do a lot of deep breathing to urinate, but this started many years after I developed PDOD.
