Hey there - recently picked up an FR-S. Its been a long time since I've been a part of the car scene but over the years I owned many FC3S and S chassis. Notably a 1j and eventually a 2j FC.
I've been on an ADHD rabbit hole about setting these cars up for drifting, nothing crazy figure like 2009 event spec. Simple and gets down. I don't see a lot of dudes running staggered set ups but it would appear to be ideal for maximizing suspension tuning and angle. Something like 17x9.5 / 18x10.5 with likely a 235/40 and a 255/35 and appropriate fenders for clearance. I love how they look on 18's all around but this car is being put together around drivability so that's where I'm at. I apologize if questions get asked like this super often, I really miss forum days and the wealth of resources we had on things. Would anyone have any photos of this set up or guidance in that regard?
once again thank you for having me, I'm pleasantly surprised at the aftermarket offerings for these cars and it beats paying what the older cars are going for these days. I remember cutting perfect shape FC rollers into pieces to recycle them because I couldn't give them away. My how times have changed
