JAG in the Guard (difficultly, AGR options, etc.)
I am currently working on my undergrad and plan on going to law school. I already have 3 yrs under my belt and have been stuck in the ROTC limbo, already accepting a contract for NG. I haven’t got much answers from advisors who focus on going the “easier to branch routes” that don’t require much paperwork (ex: AG, MI, etc.) So how is being a JAG in the Guard, including the pay, workload and compatibility with your civilian career. I am confused on the timeline a bit as well, know that ed-delays are non existent in NG. I know this is a very hyper specific situation so any and all suggestions/advice are appreciated!
I also know there is the option to get an AGR position, I don’t know too much but that they are very competitive. Is there any way to even get that as a JAG?
