Hey folks,

Planning a trip to the Kokan region with my friends (group of ~8-10 people) and wanted some real, on-ground suggestions from people who’ve actually explored the place.

We’re aiming for a budget-friendly trip (around ₹5k per head, ~3–4 days), and we’re more into raw experiences than typical touristy stuff.

Would love your help with:

Hidden / less crowded places:

Beaches, viewpoints, villages, forts, anything that’s not overhyped but actually worth it.

Budget stays:

Homestays, cottages, or any chill places where a group can stay without burning a hole in the pocket.

Food to try:

Local dishes, small eateries, seafood spots, or even specific homes/restaurants that serve authentic Kokani food.

Things to do:

Activities, experiences, or even random stuff like local markets, boat rides, cultural things etc.

Travel tips:

Best routes, transport hacks, mistakes to avoid, or anything you wish you knew before going.

We’re flexible with locations (Ratnagiri / Malvan / Sindhudurg / anywhere interesting in Kokan).

Appreciate any help, thanks in advance!
