I’m looking to buy a double bed in Dhaka and would really appreciate recommendations from people who have bought one recently.
My main requirements are:
Reasonable price, but I don’t want very low-quality particle board or weak materials
Made with good, durable wood
Should not easily attract bugs, mites, termites, or wood pests
Should not deteriorate quickly, crack, swell, or become weak over time
Preferably from a seller/workshop that uses properly seasoned/treated wood
Good finishing/polishing would be a plus
I’m not sure whether I should go for shegun/teak, mahogany, gamari, or another type of wood, so I’d love suggestions on which wood is best for long-term use in Dhaka’s weather.
Please recommend any reliable furniture shops, local workshops, or areas in Dhaka where I can get a good double bed made or buy one ready-made. Also, if you know the approximate price range, that would be very helpful.
