when paper 12 got leaked, i was obviously browsing reddit and i saw that people told their invigilators, teachers, that they saw the paper before the exam and that they contacted british council and whatsoever.

so thats what i did today, not purposely tho!

i opened the paper and as soon as i saw probability heads 1/3 i shut the paper and started crying and shaking because i saw it on reddit like an hour before. the head teacher, who opens the papers and distributes them, saw me upset and asked whats wrong. i barely made up “the paper was leaked” he asked me how do i know this and i told him that i saw it beforehand. he basically mocked me and said “oh no it got leaked what are we gonna do now”. he was yelling at me throughout all of this for no reason, as i was literally crying silently and speaking in a very quiet tone. then he told me “calm down or i’ll have you removed from the exam”.

i don’t care about this much because it’s whatever, but i wanted to contact the british council in our country. i’m afraid that i will have to expose this or let them know which school i go to and everything, i don’t want to get in trouble and i don’t wanna get on his bad side

i do not want to sound selfish but i genuinely screamed and cried in the car when i read cambridge’s statement. my parents have spent over 2000 euros on my private math teacher this school year, which is insane considering that one class (one hour) is 10 euros. my school is already insanely expensive on top of that. i’ve spent countless hours studying for this exam, cheering that it’s finally over after statistics, but it’s not. i walked out of the exam hall super happy about how i did, just for all of this to happen. i wanted to dedicate all my time to bio and chem, but i can’t now. i don’t think i’m pulling through this year chat, not at all. i’ll be lowering the thresholds for all of you🫶
