Growing up I have always heard great things about Virginia Tech and yes, as a student, I do love it here. However, I am genuinely pissed off at how some professors are so objectively bad at teaching as evident by RMP reviews and personal experience. Its expensive to go here as an out of state student yes and I feel like I am constantly being ripped off by the quality of the professors. Some really don’t gaf about what they teach and It just pisses me off. I am paying a ton of money to go to this nice university and am getting professors who should genuinely not be teaching. And to add icing on top of the cake, the classes with the worst professors are the ones required by major. Like VT needs to be putting more money towards hiring better qualified professors and not spending money on electric scooters for athletes and all their bullshit. Its a college and the end goal is to learn and get a degree. Am I speaking facts or am I delusional. Lmk.

I made a stupid mistake and forgot to attend the last information session they offered in order to meet with a Pamplin advisor. Seeing that there is no way (that I know of) where I can get in contact with a Pamplin advisor, I need help. I am not In any business major right now and am lost. What do I do?
