What would make Lincoln relevant again and back to its glory days?

Rode in a Lincoln for the first time in over a decade. Did one as a passenger in an uber. Have to say i found it quite nice inside. It also rode nicely, not the boaty feel I remember from my dad’s town car back in the day where you drive over a log and feel nothing. Now this is only from a half hour ride in the backseat so I can’t speak on steering or throttle feel, none of that but I was pleasantly surprised how far these came from the Lincoln’s I used to be more familiar with decades ago. I rode the aviator and also thought it looked very elegant and luxurious.

Lincoln’s had never been on my radar and seems the only ones, or a vast majority, I see around here are for limos and/or rideshare drivers.

They otherwise seem like the forgotten middle child and not taken seriously as a luxury brand anymore. I don’t think many people are cross shopping Lincoln’s with bmw’s, mercedes or Lexus. At least around here (Silicon Valley) this seems the case.

As the title says. My 17 year old stepdaughter has been living with me the past 6 months. Me and her mother split up 2 years ago and we share 2 small kids whom we co-parent every other week

Her eldest and her don’t get along. They haven’t talked in months so her daughter has been staying with me. I raised her since she was 6 and I consider her my own daughter. Her biological father has been 100% absent since she was a toddler. She has very little memory of him

Anyway my parents aren’t telling me to kick her out or anything but firmly say she should be staying with her mother full time instead of mine. I’ve tried to pplay peacemaker and help end their feud but with no success.

She is adamant about not living work her mother and I’m not gonna not be there for her. Again, I’ve raised her since she was 6 and me and her are very close.

So are my parents is the right here? Their only reason is she’s only my stepdaughter and me and her mom aren’t together anymore
