Onboarding SE3 Delaware
Just cleared my background check and got my start date confirmed — I’ll be joining JPMorgan Chase in Delaware next month as an SE3 and I couldn’t be more excited (and honestly, a little nervous)! 🎉
For those who have been through the onboarding process there, I’d love to know what the first day actually looks like. Like, what time do people typically show up? Is there a formal orientation session or is it more of a ‘here’s your laptop, figure it out’ kind of vibe? Do they walk you through everything — badge access, tools, team introductions — or is it spread across the first week?
Also curious about the little things that nobody really tells you beforehand: where to park, what to wear, whether to bring lunch or if there’s a good cafeteria situation, and who to talk to if something goes wrong with your access or setup.
I’m the type who likes to be overprepared, so any tips, stories, or advice from people who’ve been through JPMorgan Chase onboarding in Delaware would be super helpful. What do you wish you had known before your first day? What would you do differently?
