Does anyone know where I can get a small double flap dust bag - the one that opens like a book with two sides on it so you can put the chain in one and the bag in the other? I was looking on Amazon and can’t seem to find one.
I have a question that may be very stupid….
I was recently abroad and purchase a bag from Chanel, and an earring from Cartier.
The bag was purchased brand new from the Chanel store, and with the currency conversion + not having to pay tax, I saved $1000 on the bag.
Then, I went to Cartier to buy the mini nail earring and the earring was the same price, I only saved on the tax which was about $100. Does Cartier do different pricing in different countries? Technically, I would have thought the earring would have cost less based on the currency conversion.
Question. Has anyone had experience purchasing a bag in one country, not opening it until home (in th US) and coming across quality control issues (crooked flap)? If so, would a store in the US be able to provide any support?
Does anyone know if the chain shortening clip is only available in the US? TLDR I purchased a mini classic flap in Japan and asked for the shortening clip and they said that Chanel boutiques don’t offer them, but every time I look online I see people talking about them! I know I can order a clip online but I was hoping to get it direct from Chanel especially after spending >$6k on a bag.
I also asked if they are only available with purchase of WOC but they just said no not available in store at all. 🤔🤔🤔
