A lot of people know about the Gamble House, but not as many know its big brother, the Blacker House. (Greene & Greene, 1907)

Hey so I just got off the waitlist at Maryland and am considering switching over from my initial commit, William & Mary. I'd be studying political science at both, for which I know both are great, so it's pretty much splitting hairs at this point. I like the more intimate class sizes, research opportunities, and just overall community at William & Mary, but I really don't like the town, it's the definition of the middle of nowhere, and school feels "low energy" for lack of better description. With Maryland, it's got that bigger school energy, you're only 30 minutes from DC, but I also feel like 30k students is so much easier to get lost in both academically and socially.
