Hair type - 3A, low porosity, help w managing oily scalp, dry ends?! and other doubts & concerns too

im not sure if this has been asked before but ts really pmo, im not sure if its because of the products i use, or the humid weather which causes sweat!

i started taking care of my curls bit more properly from oct 2025 after a layer cut ! and i wash my hair once a week

routine:

shampoo & conditioner: garnier ultimate blends nourishing banana & coconut shampoo (double wash) and conditioner (i have their cocoa butter shampoo for curly hair range, i use that on my ends specifically)

hair mask: garnier ultimate blends curl restoring cocoa butter hair food (i leave it on for 10-15min, detangle with it and i scrunch-rinse it out)

leave-in: loreal hyaluron moisture hydra filling night cream, i brush style with this (bounce curl definition brush dupe bought off of amazon 🤑✌️) and diffuse. i use it as a refresher too

after hair is 90% dry i scrunch some streax hair serum (blue colour bottle one) and thats it

i do not apply any oil in my hair & scalp after wash day, i slightly comb my hair only by the temples till the crown gently using a fine toothed comb (i wash it regularly) and i do not disturb my ends. i sleep by tying my hair up into a pineapple with a satin scrunchie and sleep on a satin pillowcover (bonnets didnt cut it for me ☹️🥀 i move quite a lot during sleep it comes off! and it feels uncomfortable)

curls are okay (looks shiny and feels soft) , definition is good (lasts till like 2nd day), frizz is there but i dont mind, but it gets stringy by the second, third day and my scalp starts getting oily by 3rd day n i start wearing slickbacks to clg 🥀🥀

thinking of buying a curl cream and gel (last time i bought arata and before i could even tell if it was working my mom threw it out bc she was convinced it was harmful for no reason 😒 ??)

product reccs and routine suggestions please!! lowk the first teen in my bloodline to not straighten/comb out my curly hair everyday 🥹✌️

consulted a dermat last year n she was like "dont use products, use oil, thats enough" and when i tried explaining to her that i have curly hair and etc shes like "u sound like a rebellious teen" and assures my mom that ill grow out of this phase ?? 😭😭😭😭😭😭 is it just my experience or have u guys encountered a dermat whos curly hair friendly?? lmk 🥹

also facing hairfall (i dont detangle my hair dry tho omg) ive started taking vit D once a week (i have slight deficiency) and once-a-day seven seas cod liver oil capsules + multivitamin + iron tablet (doc prescribed) every day ✌️🥲 how long would it take results to show?? and shd i stop being impatient 😍🗣
