In an interview in the swedish podcast Maratonlabbet, Almgren gets asked what he thinks about NSA (1:12:40). His overall sentiment is that NSA sounds like a good base, but that he thinks that a more race-specific taper is suitable for faster races (10K and below).
It should be noted though that the podcast co-host interviewing Almgren forgot to mention that NSA leverages time trials for race stimulus.
