Hello all, a little over a year ago i missed a small payment, i thought i had had auto pay on, i didnt. Well that 1 missed payment has held my score down a bit for a while, ive been very slowly trying to grow it back up as i plan to finance a new car soon. I keep my utilization rate low, i pay on time every time, and have had no other missed payments than that one month over a year ago. Im wondering how I could go about sending a goodwill letter to discover to see if i can have the missed payment removed, is it possible? Ive seen things about this online. Im a young guy just trying my best to get my credit back up, but it moves very slowly,, some months no movmement, others 1-3 points up.
