I'm starting to see a lot of negativity brewing through social media towards first time Downloaders and previous Glastonbury goers (mostly due to the fallow year) from hardcore Download visitors.
This is my first year at Dowload, which is surprising considering I this is the kind of music I listen to, but I have been to many other festivals, including Glastonbury.
For the most part, I'm not too fussed what people think or say on socials, but I'm definitely starting to see this negativity fostering and a bit a divide forming, something I've certainly never seen with other festivals, including Glastonbury.
It won't really change much for me, just an observation, but I'm certainly not going to mention it's my first time or that I've been to Glastonbury while I'm there 😆
(By the way, I'm aware I'm going to attract "just sell your ticket if you're worried" comments, but rest assured, I'm not going to).
