I’m honestly feeling really stressed and unsure what to do at this point, so I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar.
I received a job offer from a company in Ireland, they agreed to sponsor my employment permit, and we already signed the contract. But after that, HR has basically stopped replying to my emails and messages for around 3 weeks now.
This company is sponsoring a permit for the first time, so I understand things may be slow internally, but the silence is making me really anxious because I genuinely don’t know what’s happening anymore.
If this company eventually decides not to proceed with the visa sponsorship, I honestly don’t know whether I’ll still be able to stay in Ireland.
I think the hardest part is feeling like no matter how much effort I put in, everything is still completely out of my control.
Has anyone gone through something similar with permit delays or unresponsive HR after signing a contract? I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences.
