I am thinking of upgrading from my current laptop, asus (i think m515 is the model number) to a macbook neo, i am aware that they aren't the highest standard of laptop but here's my reasoning,
-pretty cheap, will cost practically the same as my current laptop to rent monthly
-no fans (i have sensory issues and hate the noise of fans in computers)
-lightweight, i am hypermobile and wouldn't be able to carry my current one around
-apple, all my devices are apple so it would be more familiar to use, my current laptop isn't and ive had it for years and i'm not used to it yet
i have heard its not great for gaming but i dont play loads of games, here is the list of games i would ideally play on it;
-sims 4 (this is a need, it has to be able to run this)
-minecraft
-quarantine zone
-Hogwarts legacy
my current laptop is super slow and the battery drains fast
from my current knowledge they are very similar in specs, but i dont really know honestly. is this a good idea?
