When you’re traveling on a budget, what makes you book one place over another (around 600–900 THB / night)?

Could be a guesthouse, small apartment, homestay — anything really.

What little things make you think, “Oh, this place is actually great”? And what’s an instant no for you?

Also, where do you usually book places — Agoda, Booking.com, Airbnb, or somewhere else?

Trying to learn how people choose places, only check on reviews should be enough? so I can book smarter on my next trip. Thanks!
