So my boyfriend's mom found a baby finch that was abandoned, the bird has been alone by itself for a few days. it's a fletchling I think. The bird has its feathers and its eyes are open. She bought a cage and brought it over to our house, and all the wildlife rehabilitation centers are very far from us and I don't think I'll be able to take this bird to a center. So what can I feed the fletchling, how can I take care of it? Can I get some advice? I would really appreciate any advice and help I can get. Here's a few pictures of the bird. As far as I know he's not hurt, but I would need to get him checked out.
