BTU for an air conditioner in a bedroom for an entire railroad apartment?

BTU for an air conditioner in a bedroom for an entire railroad apartment?

I live in a railroad apartment in NYC. The square footage is around 420. The bedroom is in the middle, with the bathroom being on one end and the living area at the other end. The bedroom is around 150 square feet approximately, and the main room is maybe around 250. It’s an average prewar NYC apartment, the ceilings are a bit high.

Previously, I had a 12k U shaped Midea in the bedroom and Vornado fan which pushed air to the main room. It wasn’t perfect but worked well enough for my needs. My windows in the main room are a weird size and I don’t want to install another AC in that room.

I’m replacing my Midea because of the mold recall.

Would I be ok with buying a 10k BTU replacement, or do I need to have a 12k? I’m getting an inverter one, which I read is less of an issue with oversizing, but also didn’t know if I really need the 12k.

I’m looking at this one:

Thanks!
