UPDATE:
I called Lectric and explained the situation, then they opened the email I sent last night with the photos. Before seeing the photos, they said they could exchange it but it would be around $300 cost to me to do so. After seeing the pictures, they immediately agreed to exchange the bike at no cost or they would send the paint stick and another accessory of my choosing at no cost. Even they were concerned that the paint stick wouldn't be sufficient to prevent rust and the size of the damage could allow water into the battery/terminal area.

We just received two XP4 750s yesterday afternoon. While unpacking them, I noticed one had an area at the frame hinge that is scratched with paint missing. Has anyone else received a new bike with similar damage? If so, what should I expect Lectric to do about it? Will they replace the bike, send a paint stick or send me to a local bike shop to repaint it? I have submitted an email to them with pics and am awaiting their response.
