Hello. I'm trying to see if I can save my 3400G, while not degrading the performance too much. The user experience with only 1 core active isn't acceptable.

Motherboard: Asrock b450m-hdv r4.0

DDR4 2x8GB 2400MHz

So. The only configuration I've found that successfully boots is when only 1 core is enabled. 2 cores or more causes boot loop.

I've tried every RAM configuration I could think of. Increasing the voltage for just about everything that this board allows. Decreasing the CPU multiplier. Turning off SMT and PBO.

The board doesn't allow BCLK to go any lower than 100MHz, otherwise I would've tried that.

Any suggestions of what to try next are highly appreciated. Thank you.
