My family and I have had a live-in maid for the past 14 years. We (mom and I) recently found out she stole jewelry that belongs to us (four real gold necklaces) and we don’t really know what to do about her given that she literally raised my 13 y/o sister.
Would you forgive and be vigilant with your belongings or fire her?
