I know there are several opinions on the anchored picking style compared to floating. I have been using anchored for 13 years and so far have not run into any problems with speed and whatnot but I’ve been told I should switch to closed fingers and floating. My downstroke economy picking is abt 150 bpm (16th notes) and my sweep picking is at about 250, but I just want to make sure I’m not holding myself back by doing this? seems ridiculous but I want to hear other opinions
