Could someone please advice on my next step?

About 2.5 years ago I bought a prebuild, since it was a good deal. Like with many prebuilds there was a psu in it with little headroom, however an fsp bronze unit. About 2 months ago it blew; I wasn't in the room, but the earth leakage circuit breaker (don't know if this is correct English, sorry) was off and upon restarting the psu gave a pop and a spark and the circuit breaker did it's job again.

Of course I applied for warranty, but the Germans refused since it was just past the 2 years. Thought I save myself the hassle and replace the psu myself with a corsair rm1000x. Everything worked, did occt stress tests with a couple errors due to the undervolt I did in curve optimizer, I lowered the undervolt somewhat and it stopped throwing errors: I was relieved!! Everything seemed well.

Fast forward to now: While playing BF2042 for about 20 minutes it freezes randomly with a buzzing sound and no response on any input, only pulling the power works... Updated BIOS to the most recent non beta, repaired the BF2042 install to no avail.... Ran OCCT stress tests on CPU/memory, power, Furmark, Memtest86, testmem5, nothing gives an error. The smart data on the ssd shows all is well with crystaldisk.

I am starting to suspect it's the vrm or mos of the mobo has gotten faulty and errors when the load is variable, or it is the cpu.... Also good to note: Before the psu blew the cpu was stable with an undervolt in curve optimizer -20 all core with PBO enabled, then I got errors in occt and lowered the undervolt to -15, now without an undervolt it freezes, but no errors in occt.

What should be my next step? I am not really looking forward to replacing the mobo with all the hassle, so if you guys know a better way, please tell me :)
