The physical toll on moms having multiples
My twins are 2.5 and the physical toll on my body is a lot to think about and it keeps getting worse. All that ache on daily basis: hips, joints, knees, back, arms, bones. My muscles have atrophied. I haven’t been able to consistently go to the gym since my pregnancy.
Before I was pregnant, I lifted weights for about 5 years and weighed more back then due to having muscle mass.
I need to get with my gyno and doctor to hear their thoughts. I’m guessing they will just tell me to get back in a gym routine, but it’s not easy when I wake up at 5 am for work, including my commute. Then I put my kids down at 8:30 pm. I don’t have the energy after they go to sleep. I’m posting for solidarity and to hear if others went through this.
