I'm currently posting an anonymous fic on AO3, and today I got a comment from a guest saying, "This is basically exactly the plot of [fic] by [author, who is me]." I guess the plots have maybe surface-level similarities, but I'm not sure how to respond.

Not sure if this is someone trying to defend my honor or else trying to sus out who I really am. Either way, I do not want to de-anonymize. I've faced way too harassment under my pseud.
