So the Amazon account that my family uses is actually my grandparents and we all just share the account. I have a Kindle of my own and often indulge in fics that I definitely do NOT want my grandparents or parents seeing. Are other people on the account able to view the .azw3 files that are downloaded onto my kindle? If so I may have to resign to just reading on my phone or through the browser on my kindle
