I'm 14, and recently we got sex ed in health ed. The second the teacher said "sex", almost the whole class of fucking 8th graders erupted in laughter. They were so fucking childish and kept laughing at normal stuff that are mandatory to learn (protection, sex organs, pregnancy, pornography and it's issues ,,,). We also had a small discussion (10-15 minutes out of a 90 minute lesson) about different sexualities / genders. We just talked about what hetero-, homo- and asexualities are, plus transgender, transvestite and intersex identities. Nothing else, just went over what they were, and the boys kept sighing and saying stuff like "we don't need the gay agenda", "useless shit" etc.
We also watched a small documentary about how you shouldn't send nudes to people you don't know, and just anyone in general. I've experienced this, and even thought they weren't leaked -to my knowledge-, it was traumatic since I was groomed to do it. While we were watching it, the boys kept laughing and making fun of the people who sent nudes in the documentary. It was extremely innapropriate and empathetic (even if the story was fictional).

Can we please just normalise sex ed and not laught at natural stuff.
