Basically the title. Is it common to have to pay for a credit check & non-refundable fees of this level for a 2-month summer sublet? I assumed first and last month rent is all that would be required since it's only a 2-month period. Current tenant paid that same application fee amount at the start of their lease (10 months ago). Why would I need to pay it again for the final 2 months? Is this fishy or normal?
