I’m planning my wedding and chose a specific dress for my bridesmaids so they’d all match.

One of my bridesmaids has pushed back and said she’s uncomfortable wearing that exact dress because she feels it won’t suit her body shape/size. She’s asked to wear a different style in the same colour.

I’m conflicted as part of me feels like matching dresses are a pretty standard expectation, but I also don’t want to put her in something she feels insecure in.

I’m open to compromise, but I’m also wondering where the line is between having a vision for the wedding vs accommodating individual preferences.

Would it be unfair to insist on the same dress, or is it more reasonable to allow different styles for comfort?
