Recommendation for a paddle board for calm ocean with passenger/gear
Hi! I am looking for a paddle board to gift my outdoorsy father, he had used a SUP in the past out in the inlet near where he lives (not open ocean so waves not too big, but there can be good currents and chop). He would like to get an iSUP so it is more portable as taking his old one in and out of the water and transporting it became a limiting factor. He also has a dog he'd like to have room to sit on the board with him. He has a kayak so not necessarily looking for one that has that feature. Stability and comfort is most important and something appropriate for that kind of water environment. My budget is under $1k, ideally closer to 600-800 but some flexibility for something that is really worth it. I was looking at Isle Explorer 3 but then second guessed with some reviews whether something with a wider/squarer tail would be better? Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you
