Cracking and scratches showed up after baking a sourdough bread when I pre-heated it in the oven for 240C/460F.
Honestly I have no idea why it got scratches. I have been only use silicone or wooden utensils with it and the only thing I could think about is I sometimes put it in the dishwasher..
