This week in meals 🍳🍝🦞

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a lovely Saturday morning. This week was big for noodles, I love me some pasta lol.

  1. Some tomatoes for sauce I was making! I roasted them in the little shallow heart oven. So cute 🍑

  2. Shallot and garlic..kinda confit??? Infused oil?? Not sure what to call it ahaha but I used the shallots and garlic for a couple of sauces and set aside the oil to cook with! - 2.25QT braiser

  3. Three tomato pasta! Used those roasted cherry tomatoes, crushed canned tomatoes, and little vine tomatoes to make the sauce. I also used some of the shallot infused garlic here too. The sauce was made with celery, fresh shallots, garlic, and I added some sliced mushrooms and parm in addition to the 🍅🍅🍅 - 6.75QT round wide

  4. Fried egg for my morning avocado toast! This was the main reason I wanted to make the oil actually it’s so great for eggs. Not the most glamorous meal but my little skillet doesn’t get photographed much despite being used almost daily, so I thought I’d take a nice pic of her ☺️

  5. Broccolini roasted in the shallot oil! I had some alone with lunch and it was very yummy, set the rest aside for the following dish! - fluted loaf pan

  6. Lobster ravioli in a cheesy shallot cream sauce. Baked with parm cheese ontop. Very decadent, served with lemon. I used the shallots from the confit in this sauce, tasted great but the sauce wasn’t as saucy as I hoped so more practice for me lol - 3.5QT braiser

  7. Sesame Oyster sauce noodles with teriyaki chicken thighs. My go to meal lately with tons of veggies! - 5QT braiser

  8. Bonus shot!! Using my little flower cocottes to store all my different “special” gummies! Turquoise is one of my favorites and I can’t begin to describe how much I love this little set 🥺🩵

That’s all for now thank you all for letting me share ☺️✨

Provence perfection 💜

A sweet surprise from my hubby, sharing in case anyone wants a peek 😊 The Heritage Shallow Square Casserole was the free gift. Also added a little family photo with my round and new oval bread ovens.

My cookware after the kitchen remodeling

I made a post a few months ago with my cookware in my old kitchen - now they arrived in the remodeled one. Color overload? maybe, but life should be colorful in my opinion!

Well, I couldn’t say no!

Honestly the pictures online do not do the forest line any justice.

I walked into William Sonoma with the wife and my eyes instantly locked on. The matte finish with the Forêt green. I mean I had to justify the stew pot….right lol.

Debating on ordering something else now. That is all. Thanks for letting me indulge lol. 😃

Should I Keep?

Should I keep the “Made in Portugal” salad plates? I plan on replacing my dinner plates (white/blue flower pattern) with LC dinner plates that match the blue bowl (marseille).

I’m conflicted. Do the salad plates coordinate? Or should I go for LC salad plates? I like the idea of having an odd plate for some texture, but wondering if the design is too far off.

Added my marseille bowl for context, including my LC pasta bowls in what I think is Caribbean, as that’s what I’m building off of. I’m indecisive! Thanks in advance for any input!

Show me your dream color combination(s)

What´s the vibe you´re going for?

I´ve started with rhone/berry (garnet/rose quartz) and am still figuring out which way to go myself. There´s so many options!

I would love to see other´s creations and their inspiration

Did I make a wise decision?

I have a 7.25qt round but it’s huge and I’ve been wanting to get a 5.5qt for a few years however it’s been too expensive and I don’t like the colors they have on a normal basis. Well my favorite color I’ve been on the lookout for (Provence) is available again but I couldn’t afford the 5.5 and the 6.5 deep round is on sale for $280 so I ordered that. Will I feel it’s too big since it’s only about 1qt smaller than my 7.25? The 5.5qt seemed like the perfect use size for so many things. I am single so not cooking for many people.

Thank you

LC Window Shopping Over The Past Week

Window shopping over the past week at HomeGoods, TJMaxx, and Marshalls. It was lovely seeing Camomile in person for the first time. Catch & Release.

I brought home the 2 Rose Quartz mini cocottes.

Can a pinhole be raised?

Hey! This is my new braiser. I asked a fb group, and a lot of people told me this was a pinhole. I did not specify in my fb question that the hole was raised, and it seems like pinholes are actual holes covered in enamel. This bump here is raised but not sharp. Is it still a pinhole?

Regardless, is it safe to use?

Thank you so much. I’m new to LC, and I appreciate any help.
