Nature Lost, Parking Gained

A small update since my last post here.
Slowly but surely, Bleak Beach is finally becoming worthy of its name.
Every ounce of joy replaced with glorious slabs of concrete and endless zoning violations.

I even found a way to hide that annoying green gate by sealing it inside my giant concrete block. Progress.

Unfortunately, the true urban misery cannot be rushed. There are still countless buildings left to place, entire districts waiting to be stripped of sunlight, and miles upon miles of levees and retaining walls that must be erected in service of the vision. My Pokémon yearn for overcrowded apartments and lifeless infrastructure.

One day, this town will become the beautiful industrial nightmare it was always meant to be:
no nature, no color, no escape. Just roads, drainage canals, and the comforting haze of unchecked development stretching endlessly into the horizon.

DOWN WITH NATURE.
LONG LIVE INDUSTRIALIZATION.

Flattened the entire Bleak Beach zone to a proper, efficient two blocks above sea level. Removed all those useless oxygen-producing trees cluttering up the city. Asphalted basically everything, and I’m currently replacing the remaining grass with premium concrete-adjacent levee sidewalks. Even the underground river has been corrected into a more productive straight line.

Nature was holding the district back. My Pokémon thrive in rich industrial carbon emissions.

We need fewer trees and more identical apartment blocks. Flatten the mountains. Replace every patch of grass with asphalt, sidewalks, and endless concrete. I don’t want my Pokémon breathing fresh mountain air. I want them inhaling premium petrol fumes, carbon monoxide, and a thick layer of beautiful city smog. Peak urban development.

Didn’t expect removing one tiny mountain would cost this many steaks.

I’m trying to flatten my entire beach area to just 2 blocks above sea level, and I’ve already sunk so many hours into it…

Just mining.
Eating steaks.
More mining.
More steaks.
Nothing but steaks and suffering. 🥩
