hello !! I am have a bit of an issue . Today my wisdom tooth socket began to bleed again . It has not bled since the first day so I am really concerned . The bleeding starts and stops randomly throughout the day , and it seems there’s a blood clot or something forming on top of the hole left behind after surgery . I have no pain , I’ve been rinsing with salt water . The bleeding isn’t super heavy . When it first started I was scared as it seemed like a lot of blood but it thinned out after a few rinses . Most of the time however it’s a few drops of blood , however once or twice it has seemed a bit much for 6 days post-op . I will say I am getting a very metallic taste in my mouth . However I am not sensitive or swollen , and I am able to rinse with cold water without any reaction . I have not smoked , used a straw , or ate or drank anything hot since my surgery . I did get stitches if that could be a cause . I will be contacting my dentist tomorrow morning , but I would just like to know if this should be something I should be worried about ! Thanks !

hello ! I got my wisdom tooth out 5 days ago and healing is going good ( i think ) . pain and swelling have gone down a lot and I am able to eat solid foods . however there is a small hole in my gum near my stitches , is this normal ? I have so much paranoia about getting dry socket . The pain is very manageable , maybe a few painkillers throughout the day but nothing like the first 3 days . I am not in immense pain at all and I am able to drink ice water without any sensitivity . just wondering if it should be something I’d be concerned about :)
