To DNF or not to DNF, that is the question.

I recently started She's Not Sorry by Mary Kubica and I'm having trouble getting into it. The prologue hooked my interest but chapter 1 has slowed down considerably and I struggled getting through it. I'm not sure how it connects with the prologue and I think I'm just bored and confused. Does it get better or should I DNF?
