Eight months ago I wrote this post about linking Aqara H2 EU smart switch with google home (via thread), namely about using the secondary button(s) for other smart routines in google home.
At the time, the answer was that Google Home doesn't support buttons and that that's the reason I couldn't add button presses as start triggers for my automations.
As of February, they now do. And indeed I can now add the device clicks as automations. Unfortunately, they don't seem to do anything. Google never registers the button presses to the secondary button, and it is thus still unusable.
Posting in the hopes that there's someone out there trying/succeeding in doing the same, or who can at least provide additional insightas to what's going on. Thanks a lot!
