I love my family very much, we are close and functional in my opinion. For context, I have a large age gap between myself and my little brother. For my birthday, they told me they wanted to take me to a surprise place that I will love. Come to find out, it's an interactive children's educational museum that I had told them about recently. I know they thought this was the perfect idea just because I told them about having a fond memory of a place like this when I was small, but truthfully I think this was wrong to do. It's a place made for children, not people my age. But me "being too old for this" wasn't the issue, it was that being there was for me to just watch my little brother play and explore it. I'm the one put in charge to follow him through the playground areas, make sure he stays in one area while my parents have a seat to rest. This didn't feel like something to celebrate me, it felt like something for me to watch my little brother enjoy. After that, we all went out to eat and I received a nice gift, that would be the only thing I did enjoy. Dont get me wrong, I know what their intentions were so that's why I didnt say anything and I pushed through it. We took some nice photos together too. But when it comes to somebody's birthday, I believe you shouldn't take them to a place made for somebody else. If you have kids with an age gap and it comes to this, it's not really nice to "celebrate" them by doing something that's not actually for them. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Been watching this show for some time now, I'm at the beginning of season 2 when Kimmie just got into the family business. I've seen Attorney Varney stay entirely professional the whole time, he seems like a good guy and might be my favorite, but he obviously feels ill about Kimmie. I don't understand why. Thoughts? Facts? Theories?
