Mother's Day - is it odd to send my child's stepmother a small gift?

Hi, I'm a BM thinking about sending her some flowers or at least a card for Mother's Day. Is that weird/too much? This will be her first Mother's Day as a stepmom. We don't interact often (they live in another state) but we're friendly enough to do things together every now and then (example - we all went to Disney together and it was a nice time, see each other at birthdays, etc)

I thought it would be nice to give her a thank you because even though our kiddo (5) is with me most of the time, I know she does a lot when he is at their house (and will be for the majority of this summer) I just overthink these things sometimes and don't want it to be somehow taken the wrong way 😅 What do you think?

Thanks in advance 🫶
