So I am at my first year on uni. There are few girls at my group which are my friends. Im pretty sure that one of them likes me. When we first met we had a good contact and same day she added me on facebook. The next day she followed my ig but then unfollowed. She always greets me first and looks for me even if im not so close. Shes very kind but the other kind than rest of the girls. But now lets talk about me. I have a crush on her friend which is from another group. We dont know each other well but she sees me from time to time and we have common friends (girls from my group).
Recently i tried texting her to make a contact online, because it was really hard for me to get into that female group and talk to her in real life. I had a few small interactions but shes always with her friends and its hard to make a good talk or smth. So i texted her. To ask whats up and that I saw her many times with girls but heaven got an occassion to talk. She responded few hours laters with kind but not so open text. Then I texted smth about college. She also replied couple hours later but answer was even shorter. Conversation ended because she wasnt keeping it and i dont want to be desperate at this point. I only tried to make a soft move.
And finally heres my question: Is it possible that she is 'closed' for me because of her friend? Or is she kind but avoiding because of her friend liking me?
Theyre close friends so it might be possible that one confessed her feelings.
Im just asking if you women do things like that and what do u recommend in this situation?
