HyperX Cloud IIIs wireless setup help needed
Guys, please help me with setting up my headset. I feel like I messed something up because the sound is pretty strange. Previously I was using wired Cloud 2, and compared to them the sound feels a bit weird… Hard to explain.
Here’s what I did:
- Downloaded the classic version of the software and installed the suggested drivers.
- It added a bunch of virtual output devices (8-12 channel spatial), but there was no sound from them.
- Then I downloaded the Ingenuity app, installed the suggested drivers there as well, and updated the firmware on the headset itself.
- The 12-channel option didn’t work for two days, but today it suddenly started working — and the sound there is REALLY strange.
I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to audio/equipment setup, as you can probably tell. I also copied EQ settings from a Reddit comment. Attaching screenshots of everything.
