Mounjaro / Wegovy switch
Hi everyone,
I started Mounjaro about 6 weeks ago and I’m down 10kg so far. I’ve got 2 injections left and I’m thinking ahead about what to do next.
Mounjaro has been working really well for me, but I feel like I’m at the point where I need to move up a dose. The only issue is cost - it’s pretty expensive in the UK, which has me considering switching to Wegovy instead.
For anyone who’s switched from Mounjaro to Wegovy - how did you find it? I really like the appetite suppression and lack of food noise on Mounjaro. Does Wegovy feel different in that sense, or pretty similar? Did you feel like anything was missing after switching?
Also, what’s the actual process for switching? Do you need a washout period between the two, or can you go straight from one to the other?
For context, Mounjaro is still working for me - this is mainly about cost and planning the next step… I’ve just consumed an entire army of Freddo frogs and it’s 11:20pm. 🙈
