If you need a laugh at my expense…
We were on our way back from An Bang beach to the hotel and when driving past the rice fields on a tuk tuk, we saw a mum and baby water buffalo cooling off in the water. Super sweet.
So I kept on looking in there for more.
Then something I was NOT expecting appeared… 2 legs. The back of 2 human calves. Floating in the water.
I was SHOCKED and couldn’t believe what I had just seen. We got back to the hotel and I told the hotel staff. They were also shocked and told me they would report it to the police for me.
When we are back in the room my partner goes to ask reception if there’s any updates. Then he decides to go back to the location and verify the spot/help police find and check.
He sends me this photo… and says, is this the legs?!
It’s a bloody mannequin!!! 🤯🫣 😂
I was relieved and also feeling idiotic.
Thankfully the hotel staff saw the funny side… and my holiday wasn’t tainted by seeing a body floating the water. 🙈
