Always follow your gut. Purchased the Japanese Armored Mewtwo a few months ago for around $380 (directly from Japan using Sendico). I was supposed to purchase 5 PSA 10s that day not necessarily for investment purposes, but because it's one of my favorite artworks not all time and I wanted to avoid this very situation. I ended up picking up some minty vintage Japanese hollows (all of which are doing very well). The issue I'm facing now is that I only have one PSA 10 copy, I never planned on selling it but if it keeps going to (2K or higher) I might have to sell it and just keep a clean PSA 9 copy in my collection and use the cash to add other items to my collection. It's a shame I didn't listen to that voice in my head. Would have been easier to sell knowing I would at least have one PSA 10 copy to keep if I had others to sell
