Remember the days when our speedster friends daringly chiong 110-120+ on expressways past midnight, thinking that there won't be TP snipers?
Well that will no longer be the case. I just came across a Telegram Post of a guy getting fined $400 with 12 demerit points for going 112km/h on an 80km/h expressway along PIE at about 2am. This shows that no matter you're driving in the day or during wee hours, there's a high possibility that your speed is being watched. TP definitely knows that it's easier to catch speedsters at night compared to the day due to complacency.
Lastly, there had been recent sightings of plainclothes civilians sniping on bridges and behind bushes (2nd & 3rd photo attached), which shows that TP is starting to outsource snipers, hence making it harder to notice them.
Well some may feel that it's entrapment, the moral of the story is that there's nothing to fear if one abides by the speed limit. (TP is unlikely to fault you for exceeding 5-9km/h, hence we need not worry about making honest mistakes in exceeding the speed limit) Hopefully this will reduce speeding fatalities and make our roads safer. Drive safe!
