A little frustrated...

I have had two regular ultrasounds and one transvaginal. All of them have said everything is normal and there is nothing... no fibroids or anything. Also the ultrasound tech said fibroids can't prolapse and that it might be something else. My doctor was able to see it and take some biopsy of the prolapsed fibroid. I am having surgery to remove it so I know it's real. How can they not see anything? Has anyone else experienced this?

I just found out I have a prolapsed pedunculate fibroid yesterday. It's been a weird journey but basically I started HRT for perimenopause but stopped after about 5 weeks because of not doing well with the estrogen. I also saw a urogynecologist who felt a "walnut size fibroid" but the ultrasound showed nothing so I didn't worry too much.

I have been trying to get my body and cycle back to normal since February. I have been bleeding and shedding a lot of tissue like 20 days or more out of the month. I felt the fibroid hanging out of my cervix and made an appointment. So yesterday, she saw it but it was no longer hanging out - rather it was mostly back in my cervix but sticking out a little. She was able to take some samples from it but couldn't remove it because she felt resistance. She also said my cervix is dilated because of it. All this to say that now she wants hysteroscopic myomectomy later this month.

I am hopeful that this will help everything get back to normal. It just sucks :\

Also, I see that mine is tiny compared to what some of you have gone through. I cannot imagine how awful that must have been.

I saw a previous post about Language Transfer for Spanish. I have been listening to it and the way he explains stuff is super interesting. I’m still pretty new to it but I wanted to get other’s opinion on it as an additional resource. I am studying from a book and also have a tutor to speak with so it’s not my only resource.
