New to tequila

I’m new to tequila and mezcal. Coming from a scotch and bourbon drinker, I wanted to branch out a learn about a new spirit. I picked up this Tequila Ocho Reposado and wanted to know what was some more good Reposados under $100. Mainly going to be sipping the tequila not mixing.

New to buying mezcal, had it in cocktails and loved it but don’t know brands. I picked this up at total wine cause it was the highest on their “Expert Pick” lmk what’s better ( sub $100) or if I made the right choice
