I need some advice, this probably isn’t the best sub but I’m not sure where else to post.

I receive enhanced rate PIP, well it goes into my mums account as she’s the appointee.

She would never really give it to me, eventually years later in my early 20s I’d get £140-£150.

Eventually increasing to £332. She tells me that’s the whole amount for daily living allowance, but she has it confused with carers allowance.

She uses the motability car for herself, I barely have appointments to go, I don’t really leave the house. Maybe once a month every few months. ( she does not work, just goes out all the time)

if I would want to go somewhere, say cinema she wouldn’t take me.

Anyhow this has eventually taken a toll on my mental health and I don’t see anyway out of it as my siblings would defend her.

i have mental capacity.

I live in a council property with my mum & siblings.

The council property we reside in is unsuitable for me but the council always refused to move me until this year I made an homelessness application.

I was told by the homelessness officer that yes they can move me but my original housing application would be closed as I’d be going through the homelessness route.

He informed me that I would be moved into temporary accommodation but I would be essentially at the bottom of the housing register list.

He informed me that I am currently number 4th position for a one bed within my band.  So indirectly telling me to stay where I am and not the homelessness route.

I had asked if I could be moved into temporary accommodation whilst retaining my 4th position, I was told no as it’s different allocations.

I don’t think there would be any discretion  for the situation I am in so I wouldn’t risk it.

If anything they might force me down the homeless route.

But really I don’t see a way out of this.

My thoughts are I’ve dealt with this for years. So what’s a few more years.

Can anyone can give advice or is there any discretion for this type of situation to retain my housing position whilst being moved to temporary accommodation.

I fear if I tell the council in depth, they’d force me down the homeless route.

I recently had an argument with my mum about the motability car and she called me selfish. So I know her position. Although she has said to me why I didn’t get my licence earlier, like I had a choice?

I mean when I first received PIP she lied and said that it was hers and not mine, I was 16 so I didn’t exactly know.

She has told me I can learn how to drive now, that I should get my licence first and then she’ll end the motability lease. (She’s said that years ago but lied, so I don’t know)

But this current lease ends this summer and she’s said she’ll get a new motability car and when I’m ready she’ll end that lease early too

My PIP award is from 2016 when I turned 16 till 2031.

I applied for universal credit on the 30th March 2026. I reported that I had an indefinite fit note.

I informed universal credit that the site wouldn't allow me to go past without inputting an end date, so I wrote a random one.

The same day a biographical was booked for the 1st April But they couldn't get through to my mother (appointee) so it was changed to the 2nd, they called my mother about 10 minutes later then the specified time and she missed the call.

UC stated that I failed to attend the Biographical appointment.

Eventually a new one was booked for the 9th.

15th the fit note was accepted.

16th first commitments.

22nd UC required a fit note with an end date of 6 months and wouldn't accept an indefinite fit note. I informed them that Ibelieve they should. They were still adamant they required it.

They stated "Once the 6 months is complete, you will just need to renew the fit note on the system. But within that time frame, there should hopefully be a decision from the Work Capability Assessment."

My Question is will I get the reduced rate of LCWRA from 6th April or since I informed them of an indefinite fit note on 30th March will it remain the amount before it was reduced?

Has anyone had any success with this hospital under the NHS?

I was referred by my GP to a jaw pain specialist at the Eastman dental hospital.

He just recommended amitriptyline? Some antidepressants…

This jaw pain is so bad, my jaw clicks and pops. I get very severe headaches.
